CatalogBuilder facilitates catalog item's content configuration
to suit industry needs:
To set or edit configuration setting:
-
access the program in secured mode (guest mode does not
facilitate configuration setting rights)
-
user may access configuration setting window by clicking
Menu - Utilities - Configuration Setting or by clicking
Short Key ( Ctrl+S )
From the Configuration Setting Window, user may
define catalog item content captions:
and define captions for catalog item contents
to suit your industry needs. User may configure three content tags
(including for one descriptive field).
Fill the content captions /tags
to suit your purpose
Upon saving, configuration
setting by clicking these captions will appear in catalog item
content window and will be used, for catalog publishing.
To skip changes in
configuration setting click

exit.
From the Configuration Setting Window, user may
define catalog item name and code setting for new catalog item
insertion:

Review configuration setting for auto code
(SKU), User may
configure:
-
catalog item code to be set as
collection group code driven or graphic file name driven
-
if user opts collection group
code driven catalog item code (SKU), then program assigns new code
sequentially to the collection group code (e.g. if collection
group code for furniture collection is FUR and for the
selected collection group, 100 items have been inserted, then for
101 item - the catalog item code will be FUR101)

User can always edit the
catalog item code later through catalog item content window.

Upon saving, configuration
setting by clicking these settings will be used for new catalog
items

Review configuration setting for name of
new catalog item. User may
configure:

catalog item name to be set as
collection group code driven or graphic file name driven

if user opts collection group
code driven catalog item name, then program assigns new name
sequentially to the collection group code (e.g. if collection
group code for furniture collection is FUR and for the
selected collection group, 100 items have been inserted, then for
101 item - the catalog item name will be FUR101)

User can always edit the
catalog item name later through catalog item content window.

Review configuration setting for duplication
of
new catalog item, while inserting into catalog.
User may configure:

new catalog item graphic if
already included in catalog, then you may set the option to
include it as another item or ignore such inclusion of
duplication.

Select the option of
allow duplication inclusion or do not allow duplicate inclusion.

Upon saving, configuration
setting by clicking these settings will be used for new catalog
items

To skip changes in
configuration setting click

Review configuration setting for thumbnail
display setting in thumbnail pane.
User may configure:
-
Number of catalog items to be
displayed on a page
-
Select the option of
number of thumbnail graphics on a page from drop down list
(available options of 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 graphics on
a single page). Based upon this selection, Number of thumbnail
pages will be created (to be navigated using back / next or slider
on thumbnail pane)
Note: Please configure this setting to suit
your computer hardware configurations in terms of memory
constraints and processor speed. Improper setting, may affect the
system speed / performance / stability resulting into, application
crashing for low memory.

Review configuration setting for catalog
currency for catalog items . User
may configure:

Currency of the catalog item
prices
-
Fill the currency code (e.g.
US$, AUS$ etc) you want to exhibit your prices in. For the purpose
of this configuration, currency code can not exceed 4 characters.

Currency setting will be used
for catalog item contents (price field input) as well while
publishing catalog.

Upon saving, configuration
setting by clicking

Select the configuration setting
to suit your purpose and user may choose to save all the settings
together by clicking

Once the new items
are added to collection, user can
edit
catalog item contents (name, code, product details,
description, pricing info etc)
User may repeat the above process for adding new collection items
If the collection group / sub group does not exist, user may
create
new collection group by
clicking Menu- (main- collection group management)
