CatalogBuilder understands the sensitivity of catalog item's name
/ code and changes therein.
To reset catalog item name / code format configuration setting:

access the program in secured mode (guest mode does not
facilitate configuration setting rights)

user may access configuration setting window by clicking
Menu - Utilities - Configuration Setting or by clicking

Select catalog content pane in configuration setting
window

Short Key ( Ctrl+S )
From the Configuration Setting Window, user may
reset :
Check to allow for editing in catalog item name
and /or code; uncheck for not not allowing
Upon saving, configuration
setting by clicking
To skip changes in
configuration setting click
 and
exit.
If checked true, then only catalog name and/or code can be edited
from catalog item content window or auto update option in
collection group window.
